The Prelude

This is a Writing(or “English”) Class blog where I give my Opinion(or “Two Cents”) about Doubles and Doppelgängers! So I named the blog My Two English Cents, that’s the thing and now you get the title. If you want to know ahead of time the kind of stuff I’ll be talking about, here’s a big list of things with HUGE themes of doubles that I love and feel deeply connected to as an artist:

Sandman by ETA Hoffman(Automatons attempting to mimic human life)

Gravity Falls(Themes of brotherhood in Twins and their divergences)

The Adventure Zone: Balance Arc(Doubles in History, Double Lives)

There are a lot more things I’d like to talk about, and to be honest some of these connect more than others, BUT these all have the themes of Doppelgängers and Doubles! So strap in for more of this!
